The state policy databases provide information about policies in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the four U.S. territories. Each database contains information on legislation and state board rules and regulations specific to the following topics:

The information was researched independently then reviewed by officials in the department of education in each state. The date for which particular policies were reviewed and posted can be found in the bottom right corner of the generated reports.
